Valhalla (Viking Heaven) is located in Asgard, home of the gods. Valhalla means hall of the fallen and is where the god Odin houses those who he believes are worthy to dwell with him in the afterlife. Who he choses has nothing to do with moral behaviour or anything like that. Odin usually choses high ranked or well known warriors who he choses to come to his aid when fighting against the wolf Fenrir. Valhalla contains 540 huge doors which are able to fit 800 warriors wide, and the roof is made of golden spears and the walls of wooden spear shafts. The other Vikings who didn't make it to Valhalla went to the goddess Freya. In Valhalla, every morning the warriors would put on armour and fight all day in the plains of Asgard. Even if the vikings got injured, it didn't matter, as at the end of each day while dinner was being served their whole body would return to normal.
When it comes to dinner in Valhalla the same thing is eaten every night; pork from a giant magical pig that when a part of them gets cut off for eating it grows back right away. This pig is called Saehrimnir. At dinner time, the Vikings drink mead which flows from the udders of the magical goat Heidrun who lives on the roof of Valhalla and eats the tree of life.
